EEE: QUIZ COMPETITION

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering is association with SJEC IEEE Student branch organized a QUIZ Competition for the Ist & IInd year students of B.E on 2 ^nd June 2022 in Bishop Aloysius Paul Hall from 2:00 - 5:00 P.M.

The session was addressed by Dr Sheryl Grace Colaco, Professor-Department of Electrical & Electronics to create an awareness on the importance of IEEE in student life.

A total of 265 students registered for the event making 78 teams. The QUIZ competition consisted of 4 rounds. First Three rounds were elimination rounds in which 50 teams qualified to the second round, then 30 teams qualified to the third round and 8 teams qualified to the final round.  The first 3 rounds were conducted in quizziz.com.

Final round comprised of 2 sub rounds. First round consisted of 8 questions with one question to each team, each right answer would give team a score of 3 marks if they secure a goal or the team could grab a score of 2 mark from the neighboring team. Second round was a buzzer round. Correct Answers to question would give the teams a score of 10 points & a wrong answer would give them a negative 5 marks.

The Entire competition was well planned and executed without any hassle.
