EELS Association Inauguration

The Inaugural ceremony of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Students (EELS) Association for the 
academic year 2025-2026 commenced promptly at 9:00 AM in the Father Fred Hall. The event was skillfully 
hosted by Ms. Roveena and Ms. Deepika. 
The initial segment began with the host introducing the EELS Association, emphasizing its role in fostering 
technical competence and student networking within the EEE department. This was followed by a solemn prayer 
song rendered by Ms. Shrividiya and team. An engaging EELS video presentation was then screened, 
highlighting the association's successful activities and setting the agenda for the current year. 

The formal welcome address was delivered by the Head of the Department (HOD), Dr. Sanath Saralaya. Dr. 
Saralaya welcomed all attendees and formally introduced the esteemed dignitaries on the dais.The official commencement of the EELS Association for the 2025-2026 session was marked by a symbolic 
digital inauguration performed jointly by the assembled dignitaries. 
  
Following the inauguration, the President of the EELS Association, Mr. Tilak, presented the Annual Report for 
the Academic Year 2024-2025. The report provided a detailed account of the association's achievements, 
technical events, and outreach programs from the preceding year. 
This segment was followed by the felicitation of meritorious students, who were recognized for their outstanding 
academic achievements. 
The Guest of Honour, Mr. Mohammed Shakeer, then delivered an inspiring speech, sharing valuable practical 
insights from his career in the power distribution sector. The college then performed the felicitation of the Chief 
Guest and Guest of Honour with the college memento as a token of respect and appreciation. 
Conclusion and Technical Address  
The formal proceedings concluded with the Vote of Thanks, proposed by the Secretary of the EELS Association, 
Mr. Mohammed Daanish. He expressed gratitude to all the dignitaries, faculty, and student organizers for the 
successful execution of the event. 
The ceremony culminated with a highly anticipated motivational and technical talk by the Chief Guest, Mr. B. 
Sandeep Naik (CGM, MRPL). His address provided students with critical perspectives on the industry's future, 
the role of electrical engineers in the energy sector, and advice for professional success.
