To set the tone for the event, Dr. Sanath Saralaya, the Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, delivered the inaugural address. Following Dr. Saralaya’s address, the digital inauguration of the EELS Association for 2024-25 was carried out by the Chief Guest, Mr. Ashwin Bhat, Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) and KPTCL representative at MCC. Mr. Bhat's presence underscored the importance of industry connections in academic programs, and the digital inauguration was greeted with a round of applause, symbolizing the official start of EELS activities for the year.
Mr. Dixon Roy, President of EELS, took the stage to present the annual report for the 2023-24 academic year. He provided a summary of the achievements and activities from the past year, highlighting the association’s efforts in fostering a learning-rich environment for students. His report emphasized EELS's commitment to organizing events, workshops, and projects that equip students with practical knowledge and skills.
Certificates of recognition were distributed to students who excelled in various activities and contributed significantly to EELS initiatives. This was followed by an address from the Chief Guest, Mr. Ashwin Bhat, who shared insights on the evolving landscape of electrical engineering and the crucial role students play in advancing the field.
