An informational talk was organized on “Scholarship and exploring career paths “for the SC/ST students of SJEC on 24 June 2024.The talk was organized by department of Electrical and Electronics in association with Disciple and Equity Group, SJEC. Mr Ashith, Manager, T.I.M.E Mangaluru was the resource person for the session. A total of 35 students from engineering and MBA courses attended the session.
Mr Ashith introduced the various career options after engineering. He emphasized as graduates take up MBA in reputed institutes where he quoted the examples of Sunder Pichai, CEO google and many others. Also, details on various competitive exams like CAT, MAT, Bank, GRE, Railways and Government jobs were discussed. Information on the requirements and time schedule of these exams were provided.
The participants were enthusiast on the knowledge shared. Also, queries were discussed on the details of these exams and job opportunities.
