The Office of Collaborations and the Department of Chemistry, in association with Creative Learning System (CLS), India, organized a session titled "A Roadmap to Civil Services" on 10th March 2025 for first-year engineering students at Kalam Hall, AB II.
The session was led by Mr. Sobhan Jeorge Abraham, an expert in Civil Services coaching, who provided valuable insights into the UPSC examination structure, preparation strategies, and career opportunities, inspiring students to pursue this challenging yet rewarding career path. The session covered exam stages, time management, current affairs, and analytical thinking, followed by an engaging Q&A session. Mr. Vivek, Director of CLS, was also present for the session.
The event was coordinated by Dr. K. Jyothi, HoD, and Ms. Sheethal Fernandes, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, along with Ms. Diana Monteiro, Collaborations Officer. The session was compered by Ms. Smitha D'Souza, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry. The event received an enthusiastic response from students, making it a successful and insightful session.
