The Department of Training and Placement organized an Industry Interaction Session on “HR Interviews and Recruitment Readiness” on 07 August 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Kalam Auditorium. The session was organized for VII Semester B.E. students of the CSE and ICBS departments with the objective of helping students understand recruitment expectations, interview processes, and the skills and competencies required by organizations while hiring fresh graduates.
The session was conducted by Mr. Dileep Chakravardhan, Manager - Talent Acquisition, EG India, and Ms. Sukanya Deveshan, Manager - R&D, EG India. The resource persons shared valuable insights into HR interviews, recruitment readiness, and workplace expectations. They guided students on how to approach the recruitment process with confidence and highlighted the qualities and competencies that employers expect from fresh graduates.
The interaction provided students with an opportunity to gain an industry perspective on recruitment practices and understand the expectations of organizations during the hiring process. The resource persons also emphasized the importance of being well prepared and developing the necessary skills to successfully face recruitment and interview processes. The session was informative and beneficial for the students. It provided VII Semester CSE and ICBS students with practical guidance and industry-oriented insights that will help them prepare effectively for upcoming recruitment opportunities and enter the professional workplace with greater confidence.
