(7) Design And Fabrication Of Fume Suction Unit For Plastic Extruder And Development Of Hybrid Air Pollution Control System.
(1) The project on "Waste Plastics Bricks" bagged First place in the college level Exhibition “Project Showcase-2015”, held on 21st May 2015, under the Mechanical Engineering category in our college SJEC.
(2) The "Waste Plastics Bricks" project has participated in the Quest Global Ingenium-2015 Project Competition for engineering students from throughout India, where the project work was selected for Stage - 3 under Top 200 projects from all over India.
(3) Participated in the program National Science Day - "Make in India" conducted on 28th February 2016 at Pilikula Regional Science Centre, Mangaluru and won FIRST PLACE in Engineering Project Exhibition Competition for the project "Waste Plastics Bricks".
(4) The Project work on "Waste Plastics Bricks and Lumber" was selected as Top 3000 start-up ideas in India by the SMART FIFTY contest organized by DST, Govt of India and IIM Calcutta Innovation Park.
(5) Invited to display the Recycling and Upcycling project on "Development of Waste Plastic Lumber & Bricks using Commingled (Mixed) Waste Plastics and Single use Waste Plastics", in IPLEX 2019 (10th Edition of International Plastics Exposition 2019) held in Bengaluru International Exhibition Center (BIEC), Bengaluru from 23rd, 24th and 25th August 2019.
(6) Presented an invited guest talk on the topic "Development of Waste Plastic Lumber and Bricks using Commingled (Mixed) Waste Plastics and Single Use Waste Plastics" in the workshop on "Plastic Waste Management" organised by CIPET : SARP-APDDRL, Bengaluru and KASSIA, Bengaluru in KASSIA Auditorium, KASSIA Udyog Bhavan, Bangaluru on the 2nd Oct 2019.
(7) Invited to attend and exhibit the Waste Plastic Upcycling Project on the "Swachhata He Seva" Workshop and Exhibition on "Plastic Waste Management" Organized by CIPET : SARP-APDDRL, Bengaluru held at KASSIA Auditorium, Bengaluru on the 2nd Oct 2019.
(8) Invited to display the recycling and upcycling project on "Development of Waste Plastic Lumber & Bricks using Commingled (Mixed) Waste Plastics and Single use Waste Plastics", in the International 11th Edition of PLASTIVISION INDIA 2020 Exposition held in Bombay Exhibition Center, NESCO Grounds, Goregao, Mumbai from 16th to 20th January 2020.
