The Department of Civil Engineering in association with ISTE student chapter and NIRMAN organized an industrial visit to water treatment plant at Thumbe and sewage treatment plant at Kavoor for third year Civil Engineering students as part of their curriculum. Total 40 students participated in the industrial visit on 27-11-2021 accompanied by faculty members Mr Prashanth Kurdekar, Mr Bhojaraja M and Ms Reena James Rodrigues. The visit was aimed to give insights about the water treatment units in Mangaluru region as well as the sewage treatment plant. The students could connect their curriculum with the industry. This visit enhanced the knowledge of the students and helped them gain practical exposure
