Two days hands on workshop on "Building Software using Autodesk Quantity Takeoff" was organized by the Department of Civil Engineering in association with ISTE-SJEC Chapter, for the final year students of Civil Engineering from 27 th to 28 th December 2021.
The inaugural ceremony of the workshop commenced with lighting of lamp by Rev. Fr. Wilfred Prakash D'Souza, Director SJEC, Dr Rio D'Souza, Principal, Mr Jackson Jebadurai - Resource Person - Proprietor, CADD TechLABS Mangaluru Dr Yajnheswaran B, HoD-CE and Mr Prashant Kurdekar, Chairperson ISTE & Faculty Coordinator, Mr Bhojaraj Faculty coordinator, Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering on 27 th Dec 2021 at 10.00 am in Bishop Aloysius Paul Hall, Academic Block IV .
The workshop was a beyond syllabus activity for the final year students. The workshop aimed at developing soft skills and providing hands on experience to expertise in building estimation. The workshop provided a deep insight on the Autodesk Quantity Takeoff software and its applications and was highly appreciated by students and faculty members. Total 28 students had registered for the workshop and successfully completed the training.
