ISTE SJEC chapter in association with Department of Electronics and Communication engineering SJEC-ECE chapter organized a technical talk for the II year students of Electronics and Communication Engineering on 3rd October 2013 at 12:00 p.m. in Fr. Fred Memorial Hall. The program started by welcoming the President of the function Professor B V Nityananda , HOD-ECE Department, the Chief Guest Ms. Prajwal D'Souza, Associate Professor, ECE Department, the Guest of Honour Ms Veena Devi, Associate Professor, ECE Department. The staff members Ms Reshma K G, Assistant Professor ECE Department, Ms Shama B N Assistant Professor, ECE Department, Mr Gandhinathinathan, ISTE ECE student counsellor and Mr. Prajwal, ISTE student coordinator ISTE-ECE chapter where also present.
Ms. Prajna final year ECE student delivered a talk on the topic Fundamentals of Electronic Components and its Application . She elaborated the applications and usage of various electronic components used in day to day life with their specification. Mr. Vimlesh Rao final year ECE student delivered a technical talk on Simulation of Electronic Components by Proteus Software . He explained the practical aspects and simulation of electronic component using proteus software for real-time application.
A crowd of 140 students took part in the session. Ms. Prajwal D'souza and Ms. Veena Devi Associate Professors ECE Department issued the certificate of appreciation to the speakers at the end. The program ended with thanking all the members present for the technical session.
