The following are the events conducted by the Department of Civil Engineering during TIARA TECHFEST 2019.
Brief Report on the event Buoyancy
- · 3 students in each team.
- · 50 Straws, 150 sticks , glue and thread will be provided.
- · No additional items to be brought for the competition for making of the boat (No Painting).
- · 1.5 hours for Boat making.
- · Once the time for boat making is over, no student is allowed to sit in the place given.
- · Judges decision is final.
Brief Report on the event Snap and Win
- · 3 to 4 students in each team.
- · Participants have to take max number of selfies from the given list in allotted 45 mins which was first round.
- · Selected 24 teams played the second round ie puzzle round (treasure hunt).
- · Third round was themed snap for selected 12 teams. Theme was “Marriage”.
- · Judges decision was final.
Brief Report on the event Hidden layers
- · Teams have to trace the center line of given plan on the ground using lime powder, tape and rope during 1 hour.
Brief Report on the event INNOVATICA
- · The event about presenting papers by one or two participants. There were 22 teams participating in the event. The criteria for selection of top two teams were, presenting skills, body language, quality of PPT and question & answers.
