To mark 150 th birthday celebration of Mahathma Gandhi, NSS Unit and Community Engagement Group of SJEC conducted Swachatha Abhiyan in the villages of Navoor Grama Panchayat. Navoor Grama Panchayath is one of the adopted village by the Institution for Community services.
47 students of NSS unit along with 7 faculty members participated in the program. Grama Panchayath of Navoor village extended their full cooperation in conducting this program. On this occasion, a special meeting was organized by the Grama Panchayath, in this meeting Mr Ajithanjaya Kumar detailed about the plans and actions of the community services planned to take up in the village. PDO of Grama Panchayat along with President and members of Grama Panchayat thanked the institution for conducting Swachatha Abhiyan in their village.
