The Department of Electronics & Communication Engg of SJEC presented a talk on Writing A Literature Review as an activity of PRODGI- Student's Association & Industry Oriented Activities Lab & Mini project lab on Saturday, December 04, 2021.
The main objective of the talk was to address the students of 5 th Sem ECE regarding the literature survey and review aspect of their upcoming mini project, which is an important section of their Phase 1 inteal evaluation.
The talk was presented to both A and B sections of 5 th Sem ECE in two separate classrooms. The resource persons were Dr Dayakshini , Dr Phalguna P S, and Mr Glenson Tony.
The talk began at 2 pm with a brief introduction of the matter by Dr Dayakshini, HOD of ECE Department followed by welcoming the gathering by Ms Jennifer Charlotte Saldanha, Asst Professor, Dept of ECE.
The key points discussed and key takeaways from the talk were:
· The need for literature review in project report
· Difference between literature survey and literature review
· Way of reading a literature paper
· Renowned publishers of jouals and conferences
· Identification of trusted sources
· Procedures to follow while filling the literature review canvas
· Various referencing styles used
