Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering organized the Certificate distribution program to the students who had completed one month of inteship at CoreEL Technologies Pvt Ltd and a Technical Talk was organized to the 3 rd year students by the resource person Mr. Arun John Mathais on 11 th October 2021.
The Program started on 11 th October 2021 at 12:00 p.m. in the Fr. Fred Hall. The chief guest, Mr. Arun John Mathais , Dr. Dayakshini , HOD, Department of ECE and The Prodigi coordinators Dr. Sandhya Dass and Mrs. Padmini Bhat were cordially welcomed by Sanketh(Secretary, Prodigi). Inauguration was followed with the introduction of the resource person to the students by Mr. Joel Mascarenhas(President, Prodigi). Then Ms. Sahana(Joint Secretary, Prodigi) conducted the certificate distribution program where the students were appreciated and awarded with inteship certificates. The inteship was based on FPGA Design & verification and Functional verification using system Verilog for a duration of one month.
The resource person, Mr. Arun John Mathias , is currently working as a Manager at CoreEL Technologies India Pvt. Ltd. At CoreEL, & the session started with the introduction to fundamentals of FPGA and ASIC. The topics discussed were covered on the details of FPGA and ASIC and their differences. He briefed on topics of system on chip and system Verilog. A detailed explanation was given on the inteship and the industrial opportunities that are available for the freshers. The resource person also discussed the various Professional courses that a student can pursue after graduation. Every session was very informative and caught the attention of the audience.
Lastly, the discussion ended by a brief Q&A session and about the students' feedback or experience from the inteship program which was conducted by CoreEL technologies. The topics were presented in a well-organized manner and very much relevant to the interest of the students. Overall, it was very useful session and good feedback was received from the audience.
Finally, the event concluded with the valedictory program. Mr. Mohammed Kaif(Vice President, Prodigi) proposed the vote of thanks. Ms. D Thejasvi Rao(Treasurer, Prodigi) led the master of ceremony.
