PRODIGI, the Students’ Association of the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at SJEC, organized a technical talk on Cloud Computing by the resource persons, Dr Krishnamoorthi M, Professor, Dept of CSE, MIT, Manipal, on 27 th February 2018 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm in Fr Fred Memorial Hall.
This talk was organised for 3 rd year ECE Students. Ms Nisarga P N, from 6 th semester, welcomed the gathering and introduced the speakers to the audience.
The objective of this talk is to enlighten the ECE students with the basic knowledge of cloud computing. Prof. Krishnamoorthi began the session with explaining Virtualization, types of cloud, services provided by the cloud, benefits of cloud computing. Professor also narrated the recent trends in cloud computing.
The HOD of ECE Ms Dayakshini felicitated the speaker. Around 80 students and few faculties of ECE attended this session. The event ended with vote of thanks by Ms Nisarga P N. Ms Prajwal D’Souza and Ms Deepthi S R coordinated the programme.
