PRODIGI-ECE student association organized talk on Research on Control Engineering to the students of ECE and EEE departments on 7-11-2020. This lecture was mainly focused on the modelling of nonlinear systems and to design linear and nonlinear control systems from the basics to advanced structures. The seminar started at 11.30 am by moderator Ms Loshika Lokesh, 5 th ECE student, Dr. Dayakshini HOD, ECE Department welcomed the attendees and introduced the speaker to the participants.
Overview and topics of discussion: Engineering systems are nonlinear in nature. Based on needs and convenience, engineers linearize the systems for modeling, control and implementation to improve the closed loop performance with and without disturbance. To explore the challenges and to effectively apply the engineering mathematics, one should deal with the system's nonlinearity. Taylor series plays a major role to deal with the nonlinear systems. This entire webinar was focused on the modeling of nonlinear systems and to design the class of linear and nonlinear control system from the basic to advanced structures.
The talk was followed by question answer session monitored by Ms Jennifer C Saldhana. The session ended with the vote of thanks by Ms Vijayalaxmi H M. Total 305 participants attended the session. At the end of the session the feedback link was shared with the participants. The webinar is well appreciated by the participants.
