Eleven SISC Chapter Students & Faculty members, Mr Ajeeth B and Ms Aishwarya R Acharya attended IASF 2026 for all scheduled days and actively participated in the academic and engagement sessions conducted during the conference. The event included keynote addresses, panel discussions, paper sessions, faculty workshops, student workshops, learning carnivals, and project showcases spread across 8 to 10 January 2026 at GITAM UNIVERSITY Bengaluru.
In addition to participation, faculty served as jury members for the IASF EduAIThon, evaluating student teams during the ideation, mentored project phases, and final pitch presentations. The role involved assessing innovation, feasibility, application of AI in education, and presentation quality.
Based on the presentation and overall chapter performance, the student chapter was awarded the "Best Student Chapter" during the IUCEE Awards Ceremony held on 10 January 2026. The participation, jury responsibility, and recognition collectively reflect active institutional engagement in national and international academic initiatives focused on engineering education, innovation, and student development.
