IdeaSphere_Ideation Camp 2023

InnoVenture: SJEC Innovation Platform at St Joseph Engineering College - Mangaluru, in association with the Department of Mechanical Engineering and SJEC AICTE IDEA  Lab conducted an Ideation Camp from 13 - 15 July 2023. The ideation camp was organized for a multidisciplinary batch of 84 students. Dr Nitin Kulkarni, Former Director of CTIE - KLE Tech Hubli and currently, the Program Manager of InnoVenture and an Adjunct Faculty at the Department of Business Department at SJEC, was the key facilitator for the Camp. Dr Kulkarni was supported by a team of Faculty from SJEC as Co-Facilitators and Mentors. The event was inaugurated on 13 July 2023 at 9:15 am by Dr Rio D’Souza, Principal of SJEC in the presence of Dr Nitin Kulkarni, Dr Purushothama Chippar, Vice Principal - SJEC, and Dr Binu K G, Program Head of InnoVenture. Addressing the participants, Dr Rio D’Souza highlighted the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship for solving modern challenges and also hoped that the “sphere” of ideas and innovation will gain momentum and continue rolling in the days to come.
