St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC) AICTE IDEA Lab in association with Department of Mechanical Engineering celebrated National Science Day 2023 at SJEC on 28 February 2023 to mark the discovery of the Raman Effect by Indian Physicist Sir C V Raman in 1928, which led to his Nobel Prize in Physics in 1930. School Students from Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts were invited for the event which consisted of Quiz and project model competition. 33 schools participated in the event consisting of 231 students and 34 teachers.
