Ms Chrisel Ann Pais of III Year Mechanical Engineering represented VTU and secured 3rd Place in South Zone Chess Championship held at VEL TECH, Avadi - Chennai from 8th to 11th October 2016 and also secured 4th place in All India Chess Championship held at VEL TECH, Avadi - Chennai from 10th to 15th November 2016
