SJEC College Men Hockey team participated in VTU Mangalore Zone Hockey Tournament on 30 th and 31 st August 2016 at NMAMIT, Nitte. SJEC College won the first round against the host College NMAMIT, Nitte by 1- 0 (Mr Sudershan scored the goal). SJEC lost the semifinals against KVGCE, Sullia and Secured the Third Position in the tournament.
