SJEC Men team participated in VTU Rest of Bengaluru Zone Chess Championship held at SJMIT, Chitradurga on 18 – 19 August 2019 secured fourth place and selected to represent Inter Zonal. In VTU Inter Zonal chess championship held at SJMIT, Chitradurga on 20 - 21 August 2019 our team positioned ninth in the chess championship
