The Department of Physical Education along with Sports Advisory Committee SJEC conducted an "Endurance Race April 2022" in the college campus for III & IV year BE and PG Students on 19th April 2022 from 3.30 pm to 5.10 pm. Ms Vaneesha V Rodrigues, PED –SJEC & Ms Lauline M D’Souza, Sports Advisor-SJEC were the coordinators. The inaugural Ceremony was conducted in the college Basketball court. Dr Ramananda HS- Dean SW welcomed gathering. Dr Rio D’Souza, Principal addressed the gathering about importance of fitness. Ms Vaneesha V Rodrigues, PED conducted the warm up session. Rev Fr Wilfred Prakash D’Souza, Director SJEC Inaugurated the race for Men by raising the starting flag and Rev Fr Alwyn Richard D’Souza, Asst Director SJEC Inaugurated the race for Women by raising the starting flag. Total 87 students participated in the Competition. All Men participants covered a distance of 4 km & Women 2 km in and around the campus. Mr Sudheer M, Asst PED proposed the vote of thanks. The Run was appreciated by all the attendees. Winners were awarded with certificates and trophy.
