Mr Aren Joy Fernandes IV year ECE represented India in Asian Junior Powerlifting Championship held in Dubai, UAE from 27 November to 8 December 2022. He secured Gold Medal in below 74 Kg category Powerlifting Championship by Lifting Squat 240 Kg with Bronze Medal in Squat, Bench Press 145 Kg Deadlift 309 Kg with Gold Medal and Created a New World Record in his name in deadlift. Overall he secured the Gold medal with a Total lifting weight of 694 Kg. He has also been honoured with the title BEST LIFTER Junior Men 2022
