Mr Aren Joy Fernandes IV year ECE represented Karnataka and secured 1st Place in National Classic Powerlifting Championship held at Chandrapur from 12 to 16 October 2022, by Lifting Squat 245.5 Kg with Silver Medal in Squat, Bench Press 125 Kg, Deadlift 295 kg with Gold Medal and Created a New National Record in his name. Over all he secured Gold medal with Total lifting weight of 665.5 Kg with National Record even in Total Weight.
