WEIGHTLIFTING (MEN & WOMEN)

SJEC Men and Women Weightlifting team participated in VTU State Level Weightlifting Championship organised by GAT, Bengaluru on 26 and 27 October 2025. The SJEC women team secured II Runner up and SJEC Men and Women team combined secured III Runner up in VTU State Level Weightlifting Championship

1.     Mr Suhan R Rao II year MBA secured 1 Place in below 88 kg Category VTU State Level Weightlifting Championship by lifting the Snatch 92 kg and Clean and Jerk 112 kg total of 204 kg.

2.     Ms Kushi Salyan III year ECE secured 1 Place in below 63 kg category VTU State Level Weightlifting Championship by lifting Snatch 38 Kg and Clean and Jerk 52 kg total weight of 90 kg
