The Men’s & Women’s Wrestling and Judo teams of St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC), Mangaluru, participated in VTU Single Zone Wrestling Championship held at SJCIT, Chikballapur, on 6 th & 7 th September 2019 and ended up winning Third Place the Championship.
The achievements of the team included Thejas H securing First Place in below 61kg category, Mohammed Ismail Jaseem securing Second Place in below 57kg category, Nibin Binu securing Third Place in below 97kg category, Muhammad Fayaz securing Third Place in below 92kg category, Sharul Jose securing Fourth Place in below 70kg category and Venilla Manikanta securing First Place in below 44kg category.
The management of St Joseph Engineering College is proud of this achievement and congratulates the members of Wrestling and Judo teams along the Department of Physical Education on their outstanding efforts.
