INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO DAKSHINA KANNADA CO-OPERATIVE MILK PRODUCERS' UNION LIMITED

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, in collaboration with TORQUE Students' Association, organized an enriching Industrial Visit to Dakshina Kannada Co-operative Milk Producers' Union Limited - Mangalore Dairy Premises, Kulshekar. The visit aimed to provide students with practical insights into dairy processing equipment and packaging machinery.

Visit Schedule: 

The industrial visit was divided into four batches, accommodating students from the department. Each batch had the opportunity to explore and understand the operational processes of various dairy processing equipment and packaging machines.

Students observed firsthand the functioning of diverse dairy processing equipment, including pasteurizers, homogenizers, and separators. They gained insights into the applications and maintenance of packaging machines used for milk and dairy products.

Students interacted with industry professionals and learned about the intricacies of dairy production and processing.
