On May 6, 2017 the SIGMATHS association of the Department of Mathematics conducted a motivational talk for all the II Sem BE students on " Campus to Corporate Jouey for next three years" by Dr Rio D'souza, Vice Principal and Ms Sangeetha Ferrao, Placement officer.
Ms Sangeetha Ferrao explained the following to the students: Success comes when preparation meets opportunity. Decision making either higher studies, take up a career, entrepreneur. Types of companies, IT or non IT, Students were requested to do more certification and explore their knowledge, Typical day at campus drive, what to do ,soft skills, positive attitude, confidence, presence of mind, communication skills, behavior. Dr. Rio D'souza showed TED talks, first video was about confidence, determination, smartness and positive attitude then impossible things are possible.
