Technical Talk on "Beyond Machines: Build to Lead"

The Research & Facilities Group and Alumni Association, SJEC, Mangaluru has organized a technical talk on “Beyond Machines: Build to Lead” on Tuesday, 09th December, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM for II-Year B.E. Mechanical Engineering students and staff at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, SJEC, Mangaluru. Nearly 100 students have attended the talk. The resource person was Mr. Royson D’Cunha, an entrepreneur and an alumnus of the 2018 batch of Mechanical Engineering, SJEC. Dr. Ravikantha Prabhu, HOD, Department of Mechanical Engineering, welcomed the speaker with a rose. Later the resource person was introduced to the audience by the conveners of the program. Then Mr. Royson D’Cunha took over the session and delivered a talk on entrepreneurship. In his presentation he clearly explained about how to start a business and the challenges one has to face in the business. He encouraged the students in his talk to start a business on a small scale and then aim to grow big. At the end, in the question and answer session, the resource person answered the queries raised by the students. Dr Raju K, convenor of the program, felicitated the resource person, Mr. Royson D’Cunha, with a memento and congratulated him for his excellent talk on beyond machines, build to lead. The program was concluded with the vote of thanks by Mr. Vinoothan Kaliveer, the co-convenor of the program.
