A research head and an Associate Professor in Civil Engineering at St Joseph Engineering College, Mangalore, with a rich academic and research background. Holds a graduate degree from IIT Madras and has international research experience from the University of Quebec, Montreal. Specializes in structural engineering, focusing on advanced cementitious composites and nano-modified materials.

Key research areas include ultra-high-performance concrete, self-sensing cementitious composites, and sustainable construction materials. Has published over 20 articles with 300+ citations. Experienced in organizing conferences, conducting faculty development programs, and mentoring students. Combines knowledge in applied mechanics, chemistry, polymer science, and metallurgy to drive innovative, multidisciplinary research.
