Civil Engg. Dept. - Mock Interview Conducted under the UDAAN Initiative

The Department of Civil Engineering, in association with the Placement and Training Cell under the UDAAN initiative, successfully organized a Mock Interview on 15 July 2026 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Placement Cell.

The session aimed to prepare students for campus recruitment by providing them with a real-time interview experience. A total of 18 students participated in the mock interview and received valuable feedback on their technical knowledge, communication skills, confidence, and overall interview performance.

The interviews were conducted by Mr. Akash Shetty, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, STRAECON, and Mr. Jackson Jebadurai P., Director, CADD TECHILABS Training Services. Their expert guidance and constructive feedback helped students identify their strengths and areas for improvement, thereby enhancing their readiness for future placement opportunities.

The event was coordinated by Mr. Sachin U. and Mr. Govinda Krishna M., Placement Coordinators, under the guidance of Dr. Yajhneswaran B., Head of the Department, Department of Civil Engineering. The programme was well received by the participants and proved to be an effective initiative in improving students' interview skills and employability.
