The Department of Civil Engineering at St Joseph Engineering College, Mangaluru, organized a heartfelt farewell program titled “NIRGAMANA” for the outgoing final year students on 2nd June 2025. The event took place in the Kalam Auditorium and was hosted by the third and second-year students to bid a warm and memorable goodbye to their seniors.
The program began with a short formal function. Dr. Yajnheswaran B., Professor & Head of the Department, Civil Engineering, formally welcomed the gathering and conveyed his heartfelt wishes to the outgoing students, encouraging them to pursue their goals with passion and integrity. Outgoing students were appreciated for their contributions and achievements during their academic journey, and mementos were distributed as tokens of appreciation and remembrance. Faculty members also shared their best wishes and offered guidance for the students’ future endeavors.
Following the formal session, an informal cultural segment featured energetic performances, spot games, and engaging activities that brought joy and laughter to the gathering. It was a moment of celebration, bonding, and reflection for both juniors and seniors.
The event was coordinated by Mr. Chitharanjan M, Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, and was well-received by students and staff alike. The program successfully created lasting memories and a sense of gratitude among the graduating batch.
