Emergence of the POSH Act as key for development of Women Empowerment”

On the occasion of International women’s day, 7th March 2024, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering conducted a talk on “Emergence of the POSH Act as key for development of Women Empowerment” under DISCIPLINE AND EQUITY GROUP.

The resource person Mrs. Jayashree M Rattihalli, a legal Consultant, Advocate, Arbitrator and Mediator and Founder associate at Prolegi’s Associates, a Law firm based out in Mangaluru, conducted the session for staff and students of SJEC.

Mrs Vijayalaxmi H Manjunatha introduced the Chief Guest to the Audience, Dr Dayakshini, HOD of ECE dept. Florally welcomed the guest. All department faculty members including the admission staff attended the talk.

Mrs Jayashree Rattihalli spoke about various ways in how one can empower women. The individuals and government must both come together to make it happen. Education for girls to make literate.
