The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering , SJEC organized a FDP on"Artificial Intelligence and Machine Leaing" on 24 th February 2022 in Prerana Hall, Ground floor, Academic Block III . The Resource Person for the FDP was Dr Ashok Rao, Former Head, Network Project, CEDT, IISc., Bengaluru. FDP was open to all faculty of SJEC. Dr Dayakshini, HOD- ECE department, introduced the Resource Person and welcomed the audience. Ms Shama B N & Ms Aarya Shri K, Asst Professors, Department of ECE were the coordinators of FDP.
Session 1 was held from 9.00 AM to 11.00 AM on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Leaing and Deep leaing Applications. Dr Ashok Rao introduced Artificial Intelligence, Machine Leaing and Deep leaing concepts. His talk focused on various real time applications. He also stressed on Data Sciences. The speaker highlighted the difference between Data Analysis and Data Analytics.
Session 2 was held from 11.15 AM to 1.00 PM on Mathematics for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Leaing and Deep leaing. Dr Ashok Rao s poke about the importance of Statistics in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Leaing and Deep leaing. Participants clarified their doubts regarding Deep Leaing concepts.
Dr Ashok Rao was felicitated by Rev. Fr Wilfred Prakash D'Souza, Director SJEC. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Shama B N. Seventy faculty members of various departments participated in FDP.
