CareerDrill - Mock Interview Session 2025

A mock interview session was conducted for first-year MCA students on August 09 2025, aimed at preparing them for future job interviews and enhancing their professional skills. The session was designed to simulate real-world interview scenarios and provide constructive feedback to help students improve their performance.

Objectives:

1. To familiarize students with common interview questions and formats.
2. To assess and improve students’ interview skills, including communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities.
3. To offer personalized feedback and guidance to each student.

The Mock Interview session took place from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM at Fr Fred Hall and Placement cell, SJEC. The panel comprised seven technical experts and three HR professionals:

Technical Experts: Mr. Ceden Misquith from GrandWorks, Mr Aditya Prabhu from Semnox Solution Private Limited, Mr Sunil Mangalore Kamath from US based Investment Bank, Mr Shravn Uchil from PrimeSophic Technologies, Mr Roshan V from Elogixa, Mr Madan Prashant M, Ms. Saksha D from Infosys Mangaluru.

HR Professionals: Ms Lekitha from Sclera VDMS Pvt Ltd, Ms Krithika Saralaya from Invenger Technologies and Ms Diana Bangera from Novigo Solutions Mangaluru.

The mock interview session successfully provided first-year MCA students with valuable experience and insights into the interview process. By addressing the identified areas for improvement and following the recommended actions, students can further enhance their readiness for future job interviews.
