We are pleased to announce the renewal of our Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC), Mangaluru, and St Aloysius University (SAU), Mangaluru, which took place on July 25, 2024.
The renewal was formalized by Rev Fr Wilfred Prakash D’Souza, Director of SJEC, and Rev Dr Praveen Martis, Vice Chancellor of SAU.
This continued partnership has fostered numerous successful initiatives, including specialized workshops on LATEX and MATLAB for M.Sc Mathematics students and collaborative projects like tree labelling on our campus. Students have thrived, presenting research at international conferences, receiving awards, and earning prestigious scholarships.
The renewal ceremony was attended by key representatives from both institutions: from SJEC, Dr. Rio D’Souza (Principal), Dr. Ramanada H S (Professor and Dean of Student and Welfare), Dr. Jagadeesha B (HoD Mathematics), Dr. Rajesh P.C. (HoD Physics), and Ms. Diana Monteiro (Collaborations Officer); and from SAU, Ms. Anupriya (HoD, MSc Mathematics) and Dr. Subhalaxmi (Faculty, MSc Mathematics).
Looking ahead, we are excited to continue guiding students on their research projects and internships, expand our support to additional departments, and organize more workshops to enhance academic collaboration
