We are pleased to announce the renewal of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC), Mangaluru, and FESTO India Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru.
The agreement was officially signed on 5th September 2024 by Rev. Fr Wilfred Prakash D'Souza, Director of SJEC, and Mr Harish Nachnani, Head – Didactic, FESTO India Pvt. Ltd.
This partnership aims to foster collaboration in offering value-added courses, providing internship opportunities, and establishing a robust Industry-Institute Partnership. The renewed MoU is focused on bridging the gap between industry expectations and academic curriculum by enabling active industry involvement for a seamless symbiotic relationship.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by Dr Rio D'Souza, Principal, SJEC, Dr Sudheer M, Dean - Academics and Professor, Mechanical Engineering, Dr Shreeranga Bhat, HOD, Department of Mechanical, SJEC and Mr Jagatesan, Senior Manager from Festo India.
This collaboration is a significant step toward enhancing students' academic and professional development while addressing the evolving needs of the industry.
