Dr Nalini Rebello welcomed the gathering and introduced the Chief Guest. President of NIRMAN presented the annual report of Association Activities for the year 2017-18 and proposed the Chief Guest administered the plan of events for the current academic year. He spoke about the current climatic changes that are happening across the world and its catastrophic impacts felt all around us and he emphasized the importance of leaing different building codes and byelaw to be adopted during construction. He also mentioned that alumni are like resource for the growth of college and their involvement is good for the department and faculty. Dr Rio D’Souza addressed the gathering &informed students regarding importance of OBE and active leaing. Meritorious students from each class were felicitated by the guests. Rev. Fr Wilfred Prakash D’Souza in his Presidential Address motivated the students to utilize skill at the right place and at right time. The honorable Chief Guest was felicitated with a memento presented by Rev. Fr Wilfred Prakash D’Souza. Mr Aditya Rao, Secretary proposed the vote of thanks. The inaugural was followed by cultural activities by the students.
