‘Jagruti – Prevention of Sexual Assault Committee’ organized a talk on ‘Social Media and Cyber Security’ by Mr Don Caeiro, Assistant Professor, Kristu Jayanti College, Bangalore to the interested students of all departments on 26.10.2019 from 9.30 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. at Spoorthi Hall, 7th floor, Academic Block-III.
The talk began with the MC Ms Prajna, student of the Department of MBA introducing the resource person and welcoming the gathering. Mr Caeiro interacted with the students on cyber attacks like stalking, phishing, morphing, malware, misuse. He guided the students about the importance of privacy, checking the URLs of sites before using them and restricting access to resources on social media.
Ms Manjula, Assistant Professor, Department of MBA felicitated Mr Caeiro.
The session ended with Ms Prajna proposing the vote of thanks.
