Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering organized an interclass volleyball touament for 3 rd year and 2 nd year ECE students on 23 rd October 2021 . Volleyball has long been a popular sport in the college and this was evident in the enthusiastic response to the touament. Teams were built and shuffled . There was a huge crowd of students who had gathered on the playground to cheer their respective teams.
The event was started on the 23 rd October 2021 at 2:00 pm and ended at 3:15 pm. The main audience were the Prodigi coordinators Dr. Sandhya Dass and Mrs. Padmini Bhat, faculties from ECE department and also there was a huge crowd of students from ECE department gathered on the playground to cheer their respective teams. There were a total of four teams which was shuffled and the teams were 2 nd year A, 2 nd year B, 3 rd year A, 3 rd year B respectively.
At the beginning there was a toss which was followed by the match-up between 2 nd year A over 3rd year B, in which 3 rd year B emerged as the victor. The second match was between 3 rd year A over 2 nd year B, in which 2 rd year B emerged as the victor. The final of the touament was held between two teams that had been the best and most consistent throughout - 3 rd year B and 2 nd year B. 2 nd year B emerged as the winners of the touament.
The touament was a huge success with a great crowd tuout. All the participants in the touament were great exponents of the best qualities of sportsmen and sportswomen
