St. Joseph Engineering College (SJEC) held the Internal Hackathon on September 5, 2024, as part of the Smart India Hackathon 2024. The event, organized by the SJEC AICTE IDEA Lab in collaboration with The Sceptix Club, brought together over 60 student teams to present innovative solutions to real-world challenges posed by industries, ministries, and government agencies. The Hackathon featured a diverse range of participants, including students from Engineering, MBA, and MCA programs, who worked on problems in various sectors such as agriculture, food tech, rural development, clean & green technology, heritage & culture, blockchain & cyber security, robotics & drones, renewable energy, health tech, and smart education. The solutions were geared toward fostering skill development, entrepreneurship, and innovation, aligning with the goals of the Smart India Hackathon.
