Session on Stock Market Trading and Investment Analysis

The Department of Business Administration at St Joseph Engineering College, Mangaluru, in association with Finnovate, MarketSense, and EmpowerNet, and powered by Genesis, organized an enriching session on “Stock Market Trading and Investment Analysis” for MBA students. The event took place on 04 December 2025 at the Kalam Auditorium, AB II, and was conducted from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm.

The session was expertly delivered by Dr. Vinith Oscar D’Costa, Founder and Director of Vinith D’Costa and Associates, a renowned research analyst firm in Mangaluru. Dr. D’Costa provided a comprehensive overview of stock market operations, equity valuation, risk assessment, and disciplined investment practices. Moving beyond theory, he demonstrated live market charts and real-time data interpretation to help students understand practical market behaviour. The interactive nature of the session allowed students to clarify doubts regarding market volatility and long-term wealth creation strategies.

The program was compeered by Mr. Nandan B. K., Assistant Professor, ensuring a smooth flow of events. The session was efficiently coordinated by faculty members Mr. Cherian Xavier and Ms. Prajwala P. Rodrigues, along with Genesis Coordinator Mr. Nelson M. Fernandes, under the guidance of the Professor and Dean, Dr. Prakash Pinto. Their collective efforts made the session highly informative and beneficial for all participants
